(Whitewater Valley)--People who work in three Whitewater Valley counties will see their income tax rate go up in 2016. The Indiana Department of Revenue has released its list of 18 total counties with changes. In Union County, the tax rate increases from 1 ½% to 1 ¾%. Franklin County’s rate also goes up a quarter-percent to 1 ½%. Henry County will see the same increase. In Wayne County, the income tax rate will remain 1 ½%.
