(Richmond, IN)--A 36-year run on Richmond Common Council came to an end this week for Larry Parker. "I would sincerely like to thank all of the constituents of the Sixth District for having me represent them for the past 36 years. I greatly appreciate that," Parker said. Parker recalled his relationships with fellow council members like Jack Elstro. "We used to fight and then go out and have a hamburger together later." And, he offered this to his successors. "I wish nothing but success for the new administration." Parker was the owner of the former Bumblebee Quick Print. Phil Quinn’s eight-year-run on council also ended this week. Don Winget's term also came to a close.
