(Verona, OH)--Six children were living in a Preble County home where a meth lab was in operation. That meth lab was discovered and dismantled Wednesday night at the home of 39-year-old David Haney. He lives in the village of Verona, which is just northeast of Lewisburg. Tips from neighbors led investigators downstairs. "It was a small basement. When we got inside there, we located several chemicals that are used to manufacture methampetamine," said Captain Robert Schneider. Finished product was also found. The six children, who range in age from three to 16, were turned over to other family members.
