(Richmond, IN)--Here’s an update to an incident last weekend that left a Centerville man seriously injured and many others outraged at Richmond’s Walmart. The 52-year-old man had asked a 16-year-old boy and his girlfriend where hash browns were located. A few minutes later, surveillance video shows the boy approach the man from behind in the checkout line. The boy pummeled the victim, striking and kicking him numerous times in the head. Other customers pulled the attacker off. Now, the victim has undergone an ear reconstruction and has been released from the hospital, but will be off of work for up to a year. The teen was taken to a youth detention center.
