(Richmond, IN)--The presidential race is stirring emotions across the country. But, in Wayne County, it’s not been enough to get a lot of people to the polls this week. Voter turnout is down significantly from the last presidential primary four years ago. 30% fewer people have cast ballots in Wayne County so far this year than did in the 2012 primary. Stated another way, only 12% of registered Wayne County voters have gone to the polls this week. Voting takes place at four locations Friday, at the Kuhlman Center Saturday, and at eight sites on Tuesday, the traditional Election Day.
