(Joplin, MO)--Blue Buffalo opened another facility in Joplin, Missouri two summers ago.  The company began looking at that community when much of it was destroyed by a tornado. What kind of corporate citizen have they been?  According to this Joplin city council member, a good one.  "I think they gave some month the other day to the Childrens' Haven.  That's where we have our kids go who don't have a parent," said Jim West.  He said they’ve met their employment projections.  "They've been good stewarts for us to have in the city, and I think they'd be good someplace else, too.  Joplin Mayor Pro Tem Ryan Stanley said Tuesday that he wishes they had another hundred Blue Buffalos.
