(Wayne County, IN)--Much of Wayne County experienced power problems overnight and into Friday morning. More than 1200 customers of Duke Energy were in the dark – mostly in the northeastern section of Wayne County in a area that covered homes north of I-70 to the Randolph County line and east of U.S. 27. The problem began at around 2 o’clock Friday morning. Many residents were not completely in the dark, but experienced low voltage. Then, power went completely out. Duke Energy did not immediately disclose the cause of the outage.
