(Greenwood, IN)--The Metamora man who shot at a central Indiana police officer earlier this week had been released from prison early…way early. 36-year-old Paul Kinnaman of Metamora had been sentenced to 42 years in prison for dealing meth in Franklin County. But Kinnaman was let out 33 years before his sentence was over. "I felt that it was a little early to let him out," said. That’s Franklin County Prosecutor Mel Wilhelm. Kinnaman shot at a Greenwood police officer on Monday after a chase in a stolen BMW. The officer was not hurt. Kinnaman was shot in the rear end.
