(Nice, France)--A Richmond native was right in the middle of the terrorist attack that killed at least 84 people in Nice, France, Thursday night. Andrew Gentry graduated from Richmond High School in the mid 80’s and is now working in France. He was just a couple of hundred yards from where the truck stopped. Gentry shared his reaction Friday morning. "Shocking. Shocking...that tsunami of thousands of panicked people screaming at you...the shooting of people screaming to get the hell out as fast as you can." Gentry said he did not know what to do. "Our issue was there was absolutely no way to know if we were running in the right direction. We didn't know where to go." Gentry was unhurt and eventually was able to return to his hotel.
