(Cambridge City, IN)--The sewage disposal issue at the Indiana Gateway Industrial Park near Cambridge City is preventing expansion. Now, efforts to correct the problem have hit a snag. Two separate plans were submitted to a federal agency for funding. One would upgrade the Western Wayne Sewer District. The other would send the sewage to Connersville for treatment. Local officials have now learned that neither option is being considered federally because they’re considered a duplication of each other. The federal government has recommending picking just one option.
