The state Court of Appeals upheld the 60-year murder sentence for a man from Richmond. The attorney for 19-year-old Corey Buchanan had argued that a Wayne County judge had abused his discretion in giving the sentence last October. Buchanan was one of three men convicted of the 2014 murder 17-year-old Caleb Woosley.
