(Hagerstown, IN)--A Hagerstown dentist has been ordered to pay nearly $800,000 in restitution for ripping off Medicaid.  That’s just one of multiple actions taken by the State Board of Dentistry this month against William Cornils.  Cornils has also lost his license to practice dentistry and will spend a year in a halfway house.  Cornils filed false Medicaid claims for over a thousand patients over a four-year period.  He also filled prescriptions he wrote for himself after forging the name of the dentist with whom he shared an office.
