(New Madison, OH)--Clayton Murphy has arrived in Rio. Murphy tweeted Wednesday that he had made it to the Olympic Village. It was just three years ago that Murphy was competing at Tri Village High School in New Madison. He said the Olympics are a little different. "I graduated with 50 kids in my graduating class...seven kids on my cross country team - six if you count the kid that didn't really run," Murphy said. Murphy will compete in the 800 meter run. The first round of that event does not start until August 12. He’ll be walking in the opening ceremonies Friday night.
