RCS FILES COUNTERSUIT OVER FAILED HIGHLAND SALE

(Richmond, IN)--The legal wrestling match continues between Richmond Community Schools and the company that had originally tried to buy the Highland Heights school building.  RCS on Thursday filed a countersuit seeking $810,000 from Mint Management.  That company had tried to buy Highland for a million dollars with the intent of leasing it to Northeastern schools.  The deal fell through, and RCS sold instead to Reid Health for just $90,000.  The sale of the building to Reid closed on Wednesday.
