(Franklin County, IN)--There’s new concern over a proposed concentrated animal feeding operation.  Earlier in the year, two people had indicated they had no plans for a CAFO near Brookville Lake.  Now, though, they have applied for rezoning to allow for a 10,000-hog facility on seven acres near the Fairfield Causeway.  The property includes Templeton Creek, which flows directly into Brookville Lake.  They claim manure would be shipped off and would not affect the lake.  Residents in the area are fighting the proposal.
