(Brookville, IN)--Franklin County Auditor Steve Brack has resigned.  It’s been a long year for Brack, who is still facing two counts of felony theft after allegedly stealing money from the Brookville Kiwanis Club.  A plea deal is in the works in that case.  Franklin County’s Republican Party Chairman indicated he was unsure whether or not the resignation was a direct condition of the plea deal.  Brack is also the subject of an Indiana State Police investigation for allegedly forging documents.
