SWAT, STATE POLICE RAID SW 3rd HOME IN SEARCH OF THOMAS VAN METER

(Richmond, IN)--The Indiana State Police and a SWAT Team stormed a house on South West 3rd Street in Richmond Wednesday afternoon looking for who is now one of Richmond’s most wanted men.  Law enforcement agents could clearly be heard calling for Thomas Van Meter to exit the home ln the 300 block of South West 3rd.  When no one responded, officers used a flash grenade that blew some windows out of the home and entered.  According to the state police Thursday morning, Van Meter was not located.  He’s wanted in connection with drug activity at a home on Flatley Road.  Another arrest was made in that case Wednesday.
