AFFIDAVIT DETAILS JAIL CONTRABAND CASE INVOLVING CORRECTIONS OFFICER

(Richmond, IN)--Court documents obtained Tuesday reveal the types of contraband that former Wayne County Corrections Officer Timothy Knight was smuggling into the local jail.  Knight admitted to delivering Suboxone strips, tobacco, and a lighter to inmates at the Wayne County Jail last week.  He had become the subject of a Drug Task Force investigation after another inmate tipped off authorities.  Knight admitted to the allegations.  He’s currently being housed in the Hancock County Jail for his own protection.
