(Richmond, IN)--The consulting company that’s looking at the Richmond Community Schools master plan laid out some initial projections in the first of a series of community meetings Wednesday night. The projection is for RCS to lose between three and 400 students in the next decade. And, right now, there’s capacity for another 1700 students district-wide. Those numbers will play a key role in possible grade reconfigurations and renovations. In a district with 5000 students, less than five members of the general public showed up last night. The next meeting takes place at 6 o'clock Thursday night at Charles Elementary.
