(Richmond, IN)--A Reid Health physician is back from her trip to help people in hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico. Dr. Sara Valentin used what would have been her vacation time to personally deliver 19 suitcases and boxes of medicine and supplies. "Instead of just lamenting or complaining that help is not getting in, it was easier to say 'What can I do?'" Her efforts have now led to the formation of a new organization called “Puerto Rico Rise Up.” That organization’s first project is a toy drive for Christmas. More than a thousand toys have already been collected and will be given to foster children affected by the hurricane.
