(Richmond, IN)--On Thursday, Kicks 96 and The Point News reported that a man had tried to pass his finger off as a gun in a holdup attempt at the Village Pantry at 5th and West Main in Richmond. Now, he’s been identified and arrested. 45-year-old Francis Dunn was in the Wayne County Jail Friday morning. A resident of South 6th Street tipped police off a few hours after the robbery attempt and said that Dunn was hiding underneath her bed. That’s where officers found him. Dunn has been charged with felony robbery, even though his alleged attempt was unsuccessful.
