(Richmond, IN)--Richmond Common Council Monday night got an update on the city’s road construction nightmare.  A project engineer with INDOT told council that the paving work on U.S. 27 was roughly 2/3 of the way done.  But South A Street, which is currently heavily restricted and very rough, is only about a quarter of the way done.  South A is not projected to be complete until sometime around Thanksgiving.  Projects that would be coming in the next couple of years were also discussed Monday night.  That includes a possible reconstruction of the U.S. 27 bridge over the Depot District and a complete reconstruction of Ninth Street from South M to North A Street.
