(Richmond, IN)--About 600 people gathered at the Tiernan Center Monday afternoon to say goodbye and reflect on the life of Richmond girls basketball coach Casey Pohlenz.  Pohlenz was found dead last Friday.  Speakers remembered Pohlenz as a coach who helped to change the lives of his players through basketball.  Also Monday, Wayne County Coroner Ron Stevens said that Pohlenz died as the result of a birth defect in his heart that had gone undetected for Pohlenz’ 43 years of life.
