(Richmond, IN)--The Richmond Police Department on Thursday morning issued a press release with a couple of new details regarding the arrest late Wednesday afternoon of murder suspect Austin Neathery in the central Indiana town of Speedway.  Thursday morning’s release states that Neathery was caught near an apartment complex by U.S. Marshals, but details of the apprehension are unknown.  RPD had been in contact with Marshals since the time the warrant was issued because RPD investigators felt Neathery had fled the area shortly after the shooting death of Tremell Carpenter.  Neathery was being held in the Marion County Jail early Thursday but was expected to be brought back to Wayne County at some point later in the day.
