(Whitewater Valley)--Thousands of Whitewater Valley residents were still without power Friday morning following Thursday’s ice storm. And, those outages could last until well into the weekend. Crews from out of the area are coming in to help restore electricity that was lost due mainly to falling tree limbs. Right now, 1840 customers of Whitewater Valley REMC are out in our area. Another 962 customers of Duke Energy are out. And, 445 Dayton Power & Light customers were out Friday morning in Preble and Darke County. That’s a total of 3247 customers still affected. There’s no specific estimated time of restoration.
