(Richmond, IN)--The patrolling capability of the Richmond Police Department is about to expand. "We have taken possession of several of the police cruisers that Council helped us obtain. They're now being equipped with lights, sirens, and decals. They'll be on the road very soon," said Richmond Mayor Dave Snow addressing Common Council Monday night. Last year, RPD sought out additional cruisers in part for use by new officers. Several other vehicles in the RPD fleet have excessive miles and need to be replaced.
