(Richmond, IN)--Reid Health on Thursday released a short, informal statement about its purchase of the former K-Mart building in Eaton that we exclusively told you about yesterday. Reid said "we don’t have any specific plans for the property outside of anticipating future growth needs for patient care in Eaton and Preble County." Reid paid $1.5 million for the property. K-Mart left the building just shy of three years ago. It’s been vacant since. Reid already operates an urgent care center in Eaton.
