(Whitewater Valley)--Nearly every Whitewater Valley city and county continues to lose residents. That’s according to new census estimates released this week by the federal government. Richmond’s population now stands at 35,353. That’s down 1459 people since the last hard count in 2010. Since then, Wayne County has lost 3000 people and with a new population of 65,936. Connersville, Eaton, Liberty, and Brookville have all lost residents. Only one community in our area is actually growing, according to the new numbers. That’s Oxford, which has grown by 1500 people.
