(Whitewater Valley)--Weather was quiet across the Whitewater Valley Tuesday morning after severe storms rolled through Monday night. Despite a tornado warning with two extensions, there were never any confirmed tornado touchdowns in Wayne County. County officials said Tuesday morning that damage reports so far have been minimal. Residents mostly north of a line from Hagerstown to Middleboro did experience some golf ball-sized hail. There was also no confirmed touchdown in Randolph County, although suspected straight-line winds did bring down trees and power lines near Arba. In the New Madison area, there was some structural damage reported to buildings, although there is no confirmed tornado touchdown there. No injuries were reported anywhere in the Whitewater Valley.
