(Richmond, IN)--A proposal went before Richmond Common Council Monday night to restrict semi cabs from parking in private driveways in residential areas.  Bruce Wissel introduced the proposal after receiving complaints from some people who say semis run all night while parked in driveways.  It brought this response from another council member..."we allow the cars that they fix up in their yards.  What's the difference there?"  Wissel also called it a safety issue and said semis could park at Walmart or Love’s.  The ordinance has been referred to the Planning Commission.
