(Whitewater Valley)--Whitewater Valley communities will be receiving nearly five-and-a-half million dollars to improve roads and bridges, according to a release from State Senator Jeff Raatz’s office. The money comes from the Community Crossings Matching Grant Program. Wayne County will get $810,000 and Randolph County gets $650,000. Franklin County is our area’s largest single recipient, getting $905,000. Grant money is also being distributed at the town level. Hagerstown is set to get $532,000.
