(Wayne County, IN)--There was an active Silver Alert Monday morning for a missing Richmond woman who may have been the victim of a violent domestic incident Sunday night. Police were originally called to Jennings Road near Whitewater on the report of a man armed with a knife dragging a female into the woods. Due to the violent criminal history of the suspect, 38-year-old Travis Lee, a large police response was sent to the area. Officers from multiple agencies Sunday night searched the Whitewater area with helicopters, dogs, and drones, but Lee and the possible victim, Sommer Lee, could not be located. The Silver Alert for Sommer Lee was issued by the state police Monday morning. She is said to be in extreme danger. It was just last week that Kicks 96 and 101.7 The Point News reported that Travis Lee was facing 13 new criminal charges after allegedly choking Sommer Lee until she lost consciousness while traveling between Lynn and Winchester.
