(Richmond, IN)--There’s a problem with a stoplight at Richmond’s most dangerous intersection, and it’s causing traffic headaches that are not associated with interstate construction. The stoplight is the one at Elks Road and East Main, which sees more crashes annually than any other intersection. The problem is that green light going from east to west lasts only about ten seconds before turning red again. On Tuesday, it caused traffic to back up to Garwood Road. The issue has existed for several days. There’s been no word on the cause of the problem or when a fix will be made.
