MOTHER OF DENNIS SHOOTER JAILED, RELEASED

(Richmond, IN)--The mother of the boy who caused the active-shooter incident at Dennis Intermediate School last year spent about an hour and a half in jail Tuesday.  43-year-old Mary York turned herself in at the Wayne County Jail, posted a $750 bond, and was released.  She faces a total of six felony charges connected to the allegation that she knew her son had mental health issues, but withdrew him from treatment and withheld medication.  Treatment records indicate York was fully informed by medical personnel of her son’s mental health situation.
