(Richmond, IN)--Fire did heavy damage to a Wayne County home Sunday night into Monday morning. It broke out late Sunday night at a home on Salisbury Road north near the intersection of Gaar-Jackson Road and next to Everett’s Body Shop. A passer-by noticed flames and called 911. "When we pulled up, there was smoke coming out of the two gable ends," said Battalion Chief Charlie Bartlett. No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported. Damage has been set at $30,000. Investigators will be back on the scene Monday to search for a cause.
