(Richmond, IN)--Neither Reid Health or Forest Hills has responded yet to requests from Kicks 96 and 101.7 The Point News for details of a proposal that would pump nearly $2 million into the Richmond country club after our initial report last Friday. Others close to the situation have provided some details. Reid is reportedly paying $1.85 million to Forest Hills, which would fund 50 social memberships for doctors and other high-level medical personnel for ten years. The Forest Hills Board would expand by two, and Reid would get to select those members. The current pro shop would be converted to a fitness center. A new pro shop would be built. Much of the remaining money will upgrade the swimming pool and tennis courts. Little if any money would go into the golf course itself. Reid would use the social memberships and a recruitment tool.
