(Richmond, IN)--The stability of a building in Richmond’s Depot District has been in question for months. And, on Tuesday, it was the focus of Unsafe Building Commission members. The plan for the building at 831 North E is for an adult day care center to open. But that can’t happen until the building is determined to be safe. A billboard that’s seen by drivers on the nearby overpass sits on the roof, and the roof has a significant hole. The commission Tuesday gave the day care a month to find an engineer to determine the billboard’s stability.
