(Richmond, IN)--Here’s more on the fliers about syphilis being distributed in Richmond that Kicks 96 and 101.7 The Point News reported on Thursday. There are now 21 cases of syphilis. More than half of the cases involve women, and four of those women are pregnant. Most of the cases have been traced to areas just east of downtown and to the northwestern section of the city. But syphilis isn’t the only concern. Wayne County ranks 10th in the state for gonorrhea and 17th for chlamydia. There were more than 430 combined cases of those two STD’s in 2018.
