(West College Corner, IN)--A West College Corner man and his 17-year-old daughter are continuing to recover following an explosion over the weekend. Details of the incident involving Rob Marcum and his daughter Elena have been released. Elena poured gasoline on a fire and ignited the container. That’s when Marcum sprang into action. "That's when I saw my daughter on fire running toward me. I threw her on the ground and tried to get her to roll, roll, roll - trying to get the fire put out," Marcum said. He will have skin graft surgery Wednesday. Elena was even more seriously injured and will be hospitalized for months. A community-wide benefit will take place in April.
