(Richmond, IN)--An alleged meth dealer with an active warrant in Preble County was caught in downtown Richmond Sunday night. Officers checked a suspicious vehicle occupied by 36-year-old James Hale of Richmond. Drugs were in clear view of the officers, and, according to scanner traffic, a larger bag of drugs was found underneath the car. Hale went to the Wayne County Jail. Of the 17 people jailed in Wayne County since Friday morning, 12 were for drug and/or alcohol charges.
