Ohio’s presidential primary is off again. State Health Director Dr. Amy Acton issued an order late last night to keep the polls closed today to protect voters and poll workers. The order goes against a judge’s ruling last night that said the state could not move the primary unless the legislature voted to do so. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine says holding the primary today would mean the polls could not comply with CDC guidelines on avoiding crowds to help prevent the spread of the virus. Florida, Illinois and Arizona are also scheduled to host primaries today and are not delaying their votes.
