(Richmond, IN)--Food service workers at Richmond Community Schools were working Thursday morning to distribute breakfast and lunch to students even though they’re not in school. "They did almost 600 meals for our grab-and-go food offering throughout the city," said Rob Tidrow with RCS about Wednesday’s efforts. It will be the same Thursday morning and beyond. "The grab-and-go is offered to any student, 18 years and under. You don't have to be an RCS student. You don't even have to be from Wayne County. Stop in to any of our buildings between 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning and ask for the packs," Tidrow advised. There are 11 locations for pickup across Richmond. Other school systems across Wayne and Preble County are providing similar services.
