(Richmond, IN)--Some significant local grants were announced Thursday. The Wayne County Foundation has provided $17,000 in Crisis Response grants connected to Covid-19 and another $51,000 to other nonprofit organizations. Most of that funding came from individual donations. Also, Reid Health Community Benefit is awarding nearly $125,000 for 16 programs designed to improve mental health and combat substance abuse. Some of the larger recipients include Centerstone, Genesis, and the Boys & Girls Club.
