(Richmond, IN)--The Wayne County Health Department met Thursday and was updated on the county’s fight against coronavirus. Executive Director Christine Stinson told the Board that some of the first local residents to test positive several weeks ago have been retested and are still testing positive. A change in tracking procedure has allowed residents to be counted as clinical positives for Covid-19. In the first three days of this week, 42 Wayne County residents were counted as clinical positives. Beginning at 10Saturday morning, the Health Department will distribute 1200 masks to the public from its facility at South 5th and A in Richmond. On Monday, more widespread testing will begin at the National Guard Armory.
