(Richmond, IN)--The days of a long-standing Richmond apartment building are numbered. The Richmond Redevelopment Commission voted to fund demolition of the former Bradford Place building. The building at the intersection of 12th and East Main is more than a hundred years old, but hasn’t been occupied in 15 years and is in structural decline. The current owner hasn’t paid property taxes in two years. The city will buy the building for $250. Demolition will come about two months after that at a cost of about $230,000.
