(Richmond, IN)--Wayne County Commissioners Wednesday discussed an increase in local Covid-19 cases. The three highest single-day totals of positive tests in Wayne County have come in the last week. The percentage of positive tests in the last week has been nearly double what it’s been since the outbreak began. And, the number of patients in Reid’s containment area has also nearly doubled in the last week, going from 11 to 21. Commissioner Ken Paust met with Richmond Mayor Dave Snow earlier this week to discuss making mask-wearing mandatory in public. Local leaders say they’re not ready to take that step, but strongly encouraged everyone to wear a mask.
