(Wayne County, IN)--few local Covid-19 milestones were passed over the weekend, and most are not good. Wayne County last week had 41 new cases. That is, by far, the highest single week total and leaves Wayne County with 199 cases. It was a 26% rise in cases in just one week. Wayne County had more positives just last week than it did in the first two months of the outbreak. Preble County last week surpassed the hundred-case mark and Monday morning stood at 107. And Butler County, where masks are now mandated, crossed the 2000-case mark. On the positive side, though, the number of patients in Reid Health’s containment area has dropped significantly, and is back down to 15 Monday morning.
