(Wayne County, IN)--Unemployment rates are coming down in our area with the exception of Wayne County, which rose slightly in the last month. Wayne County’s rate stood Tuesday at 10.3%. That’s down from a Covid-19 caused high of almost 15% in April. By comparison, the unemployment rate for Wayne County just before Covid hit was 3.6%. Elsewhere, Fayette County had a significant drop and is now down to 15.6%. Union County is at 8.5, Randolph County is at 9.8, and Franklin County is down to 8.4% unemployment.
