The latest cancellation due to COVID-19 is the social portion of Darke County Poultry Days. It had been scheduled for August 14th through the 16th. Organizers say Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s mask mandate cannot reasonably be adhered to at the festival, and they say that could lead to more restrictions or the festival possibly being shut down. Poultry sales for the festival will continue with a drive-thru set up all three days. Also, on Tuesday, Governor DeWine announced that masks would be mandatory for all K-through-12 students in Ohio schools when their school years start.
