(Richmond, IN)--One person is in custody following a late-night chase through Richmond at speeds that topped a hundred miles per hour. Richmond Police officers attempted to stop a pickup near South T Place at around 11 o’clock Thursday night. The driver fled south out Richmond and then re-entered the city. On East Main, the driver was going a hundred miles per hour as he headed east past Glen Miller Golf Course. RPD chased him into Preble County. Ohio Highway Patrol officers picked up the chase. The driver eventually crashed near Brookville, Ohio and was caught after a foot chase. There’s no word yet on his identity or why he fled police.
